Hello! My name is Samantha, and I’m a passionate quilter based in South Haven, Michigan. I’ve been quilting for over 22 years, and what started as a simple activity has grown into a deeply meaningful and creative part of my life.

My journey into quilting began in a very special way - through a Bible study group made up of seniors in my community. Together, we worked on quilting projects for children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. That experience opened my eyes to how something handmade could bring comfort, warmth, and care to others. It wasn’t just about fabric and thread - it was about connection, generosity, and purpose.

Over the years, quilting has become both an art form and a personal challenge for me. I’m constantly inspired by the opportunity to try new patterns, experiment with color combinations, and push beyond my comfort zone. Whether I’m working on a traditional design or something more modern and bold, I love the process of turning individual pieces into something cohesive and beautiful.

Quilting continues to fuel my creativity and keeps me learning. Each project is a chance to grow, refine my skills, and express myself in new ways. After more than two decades, I still find joy in every stitch and excitement in every new idea I bring to life.
